April 2025, CUIR Celebrates 10 Years Since Company Rebirth

CUIR is proud to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the company’s rebirth this April.

Though the company was originally founded by the Cuir family in 1935, Fabien Val-Duprez was named owner and CEO of the company in 2015 with a bold vision for the future—to modernize CUIR while preserving its longstanding commitment to quality and expertise. By 2016, the company had successfully resumed the production of corrugated converting machinery, and by 2018, they released the brand-new MRV machine followed one year later by the inside/outside printing version, the MRV IO. In 2024, CUIR began selling their corrugated machinery to the North American market, partnering with local sales representatives and technical service for support in US, Canada and Mexico. Today, the company continues to bring Val-Duprez’s vision to life with a complete line-up of high-quality, precision engineered flexo die cutting machines.

Looking ahead, the company is planning to expand their footprint in North America, with a new CUIR facility in the USA. This marks an important milestone for the company, which has operated exclusively out of their Libertcourt, France headquarters until now.

“When we began this journey in 2015, our priority was to modernize without compromising on the core values that define CUIR,” said Fabien Val-Duprez. “Everything we do is designed with the modern box maker in mind. We look forward to continuing to serve the corrugated market with quality machinery that stands the test of time.”

CUIR celebrated the company milestone with its employees during a company-sponsored event April 4, 2025. The event boasted a full BBQ luncheon at CUIR headquarters, with team building activities, new company t-shirts and inspiring speeches from leadership.
